The foundations of MGS Sugar were laid in 1993 as a food wholesaler. What began in a modest workshop in Ankara with a daily production capacity of 3 tons of sugar cubes has since transformed into a story of steady growth, making us one of the leading brands in the sector today.
Through strategic investments over the years, we not only increased our production capacity but also modernized our machinery. Our brand, MGS Sugar—named after the initials of our company title Mert Gıda Sanayi—soon became a trusted name in the industry.
Today, within a 10,000 m² enclosed facility and with approximately 15 fully automated production lines, we operate with a daily capacity of:
100 tons of sugar cubes
110 tons of packaged granulated sugar
10 tons of wrapped sugar cubes
Positioning us as a key producer meeting Turkey’s sugar demand.

In line with this vision, we commissioned a 220 kW solar power plant, which now supplies a significant portion of our factory’s energy needs.
